Our research, carried out at the Bishop's Court of Urbino as well as at local parishes, has brought to light a variety of documentation concerning Ca’ Maddalena.The most interesting document is a register called "Stato delle Anime" (State of the Souls), in which the various parish priests over the centuries in the nearby parish church of Pieve di Silvano, listed the farmhouses and family units that populated the various properties in the area.Through this journey back in time we can trace the existence of Ca’ Maddalena back to the end of the 17th Century.
